Galileo GameScope: Week 4

Writer's picture: JetPack GalileoJetPack Galileo

My review of 7 games this week:

DET-SEA

CHI-LAR

ATL-NO

WAS-ARI

HOU-JAX

IND-PIT

SF-NE

Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions 29-42

SEATTLE

DK Metcalf is playing the best football of his career. He's catching almost everything. Spinning catches. Toe tappers. He's locked in. Should finish top 5 this year. Geno Smith is playing very well. Continues to make pinpoint passes. Fun to witness this offense click.

Kenneth Walker obviously the guy. Great job running on a tough Lions front.

JSN is what he is. Good route runner and ball catcher but not an explosive element so does not deserve to be featured. Nice complementary piece, but that's it.

DETROIT

Detroit's scheme is fantastic. Lots of layers and good horizontal action similar to Vikings. Jameson Williams is legit. Refreshing to see a "risky" guy hit his potential. Love the run scheme, they have it all. Carlton Davis and Terrion Arnold are key upgrades. They have legit shot at Super Bowl berth since retooling the backend of their defense. You need multiple DBs to win in the playoffs, the upgrade at cornerback is so substantial, they have a legit shot at a Super Bowl appearance with the most complete (healthy) roster in the NFC.
